Solid Waste Management

The Ohio County Solid Waste Coordinator is responsible for meeting all guidelines set by the State regarding roadside littering and open dumping. The duty of the Landfill Inspector is to periodically inspect materials entering our Landfill.

The Ohio County Solid Waste Coordinator responds to complaints from citizens, businesses and county officials. The Coordinator administers funds for the Litter Abatement Program, identifies & patrols for open dump sites and also serves as the Landfill Inspector.
