The Ohio County Road Department is responsible for the daily repair and maintenance of more than 600 miles of county roads, entrances, bridges and tiles. Seasonal work includes mowing rights-of-way and removing snow and ice.
Work installing and replacing road signs, maintaining bus turnarounds, removing storm debris, tree trimming, roadside trash pick-up and cleanup of open dump sites is performed as needed.
